Forged Wheels Performance Tests

With over 10 years of FEA wheel load data, simulation different conditions and effects on wheel design. We fine-tune our wheels to maximize wheel strength without adding excess weight.

We use CMM to check the consistency of our wheels during each stage of production to ensure every wheel we produce is within tolerance.

During each production run we randomly test wheels for material and stress to ensure every wheel produced is within specification.

During production, wheels go through many heat cycles. A hardness check on the aluminum during final production to ensure all wheels are properly heat-treated.

Wheels testing to simulate road conditions under dynamic load for millions of revolutions.

To simulate the axial curb impact collision of the wheel.

Testing dynamic bending fatigue on prolonged stress.

Inboard rim strength testing. The inboard section is the first impact point due to the vehicle suspension offset.

All our wheel designs are tested for torsional rigidity. This is to ensure all wheels have enough torsional stiffness capability to not affect a vehicle under handling and braking conditions.

This is to test the paint’s performance and simulate long-term exposure to outdoor conditions such as UV and rain.

To ensure wheels can withstand the freezing cold of the tundra and the sizzling heat of the desert, we test the performance of the material, paint and coating.

Painted surfaces are tested for chip resistance. Actual gravels are used for this test.

Our fully automated run-out machine check for radial and lateral run-out while the balance machine check for static and dynamic balance before final packaging.
